Preserving America's Story, One Piece at a Time.
Authentic Historic Timber. Documented Provenance.
Crafted for the Next Generation.
Forks + Fragments preserves historically significant timber from America and around the world, transforming authentic reclaimed wood into collectible heirlooms with documented provenance. Every piece carries a story worth preserving—and a legacy meant to be passed on.
From Normandy to America
To mark America’s 250th anniversary, we’re creating exactly 250 individually numbered Omaha Beach Sector Commemorative Keepsakes from reclaimed Normandy elm.
The wood comes from material remaining after larger Normandy reclamation projects. Though milled into smaller strips, it retains the same documented provenance and connection to the historic site. Each keepsake is engraved to order with “29th Infantry Division, Omaha Beach Sector, D-Day, 1944” and includes a Certificate of Authenticity, presentation packaging, a light mineral oil finish, and shipping within the continental United States.
250th
Small pieces. Enduring stories.

Our Mission
Forks + Fragments grew from a simple idea: when historic wood is reclaimed for a larger project, the smaller pieces still have a story to tell. We give those pieces a place in the collection, alongside beam sections chosen for collectors who want to preserve something substantial.
Choose the history that resonates with you. We’ll make sure its story comes with it.

Character of Reclaimed
Every piece has its own grain, color, markings, and texture. Photographs show representative examples of the Normandy products; exact-piece selection is not available. Those products are engraved to order.
Each piece receives a light coat of mineral oil prior to shipment to help preserve the wood and enhance its natural grain. As a result, the finished piece may appear slightly darker or richer in color than the unfinished wood shown in some photographs.

Live The Legacy
These fragments aren’t just décor—they are living witnesses to moments that shaped the world. From D-Day beaches to Swedish ski lodges, from rings where legendary boxers once trained to the quiet precision of Japanese architecture, each piece carries the weight of its past. And when you bring it into your home, you don’t just preserve that history, you join it. The story continues with you, woven into your everyday life and legacy.
